3. New RiverFront Park

The new RiverFront park will be expanded to run along the river to the Post Ford Monument. River Drive Park, designed by ETM Associates, LLC., is currently under construction.  As of July 2011, the site had been cleared for construction.  New curbs had been put in, bin walls are being installed, and utilities relocated.

Funding is from The City of Garfield, NJ Department of Transportation Bikeway Grants, Bergen County Open Space Trust, Green Acres, NJ Department of Community Affairs and a small portion from the Federal Government.
